We’ve agreed with the Leyton Orient FC that 1882 will be allocated a block for the FA Youth Cup 3rd Round tie v Middlesbrough at Brisbane Road.

The game is this coming Monday, 2nd December, and kick off is at 7:00pm. There will be no tickets for the game, it will be £5 on the door.

The safety officer at Orient has asks us to congregate outside the leisure Centre opposite the ticket office in the West Stand on Oliver Road at 6:45pm. We’ll be led to ‘our’ block from there. This is because the entire stand is open to the public. It’s important that 1882 are kept separate from family members who’re there to watch their kids play. That said all Spurs fans are welcome to come and join us even if their kids are playing.

For those that want a drink beforehand we’re meeting in the Coach & Horses pub from 5pm. They know we’re coming.

Orient are looking forward to 1882 being there an providing the kind of vocal atmosphere we’re now known for creating . They have slight concerns about pyro and smoke bombs given the incident at Villa etc. We’re sure that no one intends to bring pyro to the game and have assured them as such, especially given the type of atmosphere of youth games, but we’d like to extend their appeal that nothing untoward goes on.

This is considered a home game for Tottenham and it is being played at Orient due to the number of games being played at White Hart Lane in the near future.

This will be something of a return to where it all began back in February 2012 where 1882 took 250 Spurs to follow Spurs youth squad to the Valley to play Charlton in the very same competition.
