I like the Fighting Cock but this episode made my blood boil. Take a look at Redknapp’s record during his time in charge. He is easily the best we’ve had in a long time. If you’re a serious company you don’t sack your employees with the best results. But you lot hated him! After eveything we’ve been through, all the ridicule, we finally get someone who can make us tick and we sack him. Will we ever learn?

Im 23 years of age iv followed spurs all my life and time and time again we get a manger who making us challenge for top four eg jol, redknapp and levy sacks them. All because the board want a manger they can have in there pocket. Now don’t get me wrong harry FUC*ED up half way through last season because he had his head turned to england now you can not blame a english manager for wanting the england job which any english manger would want. The board should have spoke to redknapp after roy got the job and sorted it out and got harry the signings we need for this season and who know we could have been challenging for the league. AVB a stuck up manager who thinks he better then he is ( get out of morhino shadow TWAT ). We should have got david moyes look what he does for Everton with no money think what he could have done at tottenham with the squad we have. AVB style of football will never work in the english game and believe me it wont. The fans are angry at the board for the style of the transfer window and how the manger situation went. We have lost points to team we should be smashing it really isnt good enough. We got signings that really are good enough for tottenham. You don’t even know what you’re saying…at first you reckon we sack successful manaAgers, then you say Harry fuc*ed up (which he did), then you say the board should have spokeN to him… (they offered him a new contract which he refused)….AVB doesn’t reckon he’s better than he is…but players and other managers and obviously Levy does. David Moyes at Spurs means no new transfers and boring football….AVB brand of football in England, I can’t believe YOU that it won’t work because you’re only 23 and definately not a football expert….the transfer window for Spurs was very good this time with nearly 57mill spent on good players…..we have been losing points to teams long before AVB came, as you already mentioned when you said harry FUC*ED up (relegation form hence SACKED)….finally if AVB gets sacked it will be because he was challenging for the top 4 according to your deductions….and you will NOT be saying I TOLD YOU SO! Fuck me. How many times are we going to go over this? Redknapp killed his job at Spurs by flirting with England. He’s also twice failed at the back of the last two seasons, choking, and not being able to handle the pressure of a successful run of games. The moment he has a crisis he is responsible for, he can’t handle it. Add to it the fact that Levy and him did not see eye to eye on transfer business, this was always going to happen.
The fact (Will) you are happy to sit back and be negative just so you can yell ‘told you so’ says a lot about the type of supporter you are.
Tony – I never hated Redknapp, I supported him, but disliked some of his traits. In the end I could not defend him no more. Seems people are very quick in dismissing the problems he had at Spurs and just focusing on the good times. Any other manager would have been slated by the media for what happened last season. Seems some of our fans have been brainwashed by the constant pro-Redknapp bullshit.
