I’ve had a fair bit of stick with regard my views on Luka Modric – I really don’t see why?

I’ve never suggested that he isn’t a fantastic footballer or questioned his obvious desire to better himself and career.

Not once have said that losing him would be beneficial to the club, or that I’m NOT grateful for his efforts in a Tottenham shirt – even last year when his heart obviously wasn’t in it. ‘Ah yes, his dream move to Chelsea’…I forget – who was their manager last summer!?

Funnily enough I think he won over a few doubters last year, certainly in the early months of the season, when even after a summer of speculation – he put in some of the best performances of any Spurs player in recent years – he obviously learnt naff all from that experience.

Refusing to attend training and subsequently boarding a flight to the clubs pre season tour of America is a disgrace – No excuses, a disgrace.

Footballers in general are rewarded handsomely for the efforts and Luka Modric is no different.

Out of respect to his employers and maybe more so, the adoring fans that that chant his name week in week out, until a transfer is agreed, he is a Spurs player and should behave like one.

Seriously! What are the Spurs hierarchy to do – sell ‘one’ of their prized assets for peanuts, just because the player fancies a change of scenery?

He will however be granted his wish to leave, but only when an acceptable offer is received (believed to be £35 – £40 million.)

That really is the end of it, if anyone wants him enough, pay up or he stays.

You were more then happy to sign your contract Luka – it’s technically known as TOUGH S**T!

From Modric’s point of view, I doubt very much if the club in question makes much of a difference to him. Chelsea, Real or United it makes no odds – as long as he becomes an elite earner.

My original article a few weeks back was a simple question – World class Modric? I can confidently answer that right now.

Not a chance, not even close, you’re classless Mr. Modric and until you overcome that – you will be remembered by that sour fact.

Even if you could play a bit.

COYS!

If I too had a manager who virtually kept referring to me as simple and that I just got on with my training and that I didn’t moan or cause a fuss etc like I was some sort of out of touch, dopey, idiot, that too would soon get me (or my agent) rocking the boat and making demands as is the case now – thanks Arry.

Great player but rubbish at scoring enough goals and with 2 top notch ruthless strikers we’ll be better without him – we managed more than ok when he broke his leg a few seasons ago.

I think in fairness thats the problem – last year he did learn a valuable lesson and one he can’t and WONT forget…….Levy stitched him up and he wont let it slide – the fact that it’s R.Madrid is just a bonus,
Maybe Levy is not to blame – but Modders doesn’t see it that way and lets be honest its only his opinion that counts when it comes to his career.
He wants out – with or with out CL footie, with or with out it being a massive club, with or without more money
He don’t like that Levy bloke and doesn’t want to play for any team that he has anything to do with !!!!!
I reckon Levy will take him the edge of the transfer window and make him squirm before he lets him go – if you don’t like his actions so far – my money says there is still more to come yet !!!!!

I love Modric. So I blame his agent. Typical footballer who left his brain on the field. He should fire his agent inking that contract with Mr. Levy.

We will be legit title chaser if we land Adebayor & Damiao and Modric will be a beast when there are enough finishers in front of him racking up his assist total. Sell him next year at 45m.
