Let's hope it's true.
Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp says Ledley King will return to the first team soon, despite limping off against Newcastle United last weekend.
Fears were rife when the injury prone defender was replaced after just half an hour by Sebastian Bassong at St James' Park that the fit-again Englishman was set for another period on the sidelines.
However, Redknapp has relayed fears that King will be out for an extended period and expects him to return in the not to distant future.
"Ledley has had a scan. He has a slight tear in his abductor. It's not too bad," Redknapp said.
"It's only a grade one tear, which is not so bad, so it shouldn't be too long."
Spurs face Ruben Kazan in the Europa League on Thursday with just two recognised centre-backs available, in Bassong and Younes Kaboul, an injury nightmare for Redknapp.
"Central defence is a big problem for us," he added.
"We are really down to two central defenders.
"The problem is that we have no one who will be back fit at the weekend so if one of them gets a knock on Thursday, we will be bang in trouble for Sunday's game against Blackburn."
Let's hope it's true.
