And the lad we're looking at from Brondby also seems to fit into the remit!!

Tottenham are set to offer £345,000 for Brondby teenager Armend Aslani. The 17-year-old forward can play on either wing or as a central striker
Used to play in the same team as that guy, amazing

He was the biggest fuckwit cunt as a player,
Not as much as a cunt as the now coach of Melbourne Victory,
But he's still a dickhead

I'm sure that Melspurnian Melspurnian thinks that he's gods gift to the earth lol
I don't like overly rough players and couldn't give a fuck about muscat when he played for us, however he's done a great job as manager/coach and at least for now I'm glad we have him in the position. He drives work ethic and having been to a couple of open sessions, I can say that he demands maximal effort from the players, failure isn't good enough. But yeah I didn't agree with the way he played

I actually think this loan could be really good for him mentally (big crowds etc) and Physically (toughen up). Only worry is if he loses his nerve and stops taking defenders on
Oh and back on topic, I agree to a certain extent, however it gets to the point where his safety is more important than building up his toughness and I think that its approaching that point now. Something has to be done, because while its disgusting in one way, its completely detrimental and unfair to nathan as well.

What's good is he's doing well.
He is. It would be a shame for the lad to get buried under a stream of clogging cunts trying to be the one to end his career. I'm loving the 'Gers fans getting behind him. Have no views on their club really but the fans are getting behind the lad & he is performing for them.

The Livingston manager sounds like a right cunt.

You call that a bad tackle, how about this.

That one is not as bad in my opinion. Souness knows exactly what he is doing there, and he goes so high there is no risk of a serious injury. Probably spoiled his Saturday night though. The one on Oduwa is calculated to take out a player they know can beat them. The guy went on the pitch intending to do that first chance he got.

I don't agree with that. Souness could have caused all sorts of problems - he did a similar challenge around that time on a hibs player and got sent off. Not long after that Ian durrant got his career pretty much ended by a similar high challenge. Souness knew what he was doing and didn't give a fuck. Fast forward a few years and Roy Keane picked up that baton.
The liviingston players were clearly targetting oduwa and were going to give him rough treatment ,but not setting out to injure the guy. Its the same type of tactics employed by loads of clubs thoughout time to mitigate against someone with talent, skill and pace. Oduwa is also a young loanee from a big prem club - so limited players are going to inevitably be a bit jealous of that and be determined not to be on the end of one of his moves. No doubt Townsend and Pritch had similar treatment in their loans.
Scottish football is diabolical at the moment but there is no more malice up here than anywhere else.
That said Mark burchills comments are ridiculous, way off the mark and I agree bordering on xenephobic. He is also defending the indefensible - a bad challenge by a player that should be held to account and criticised - but he is not the only manager that will draw attention away from the players by stirring up controversy or talk absoulte shit.

Keane's tackle was terrible because he went after the knee. Souness kicks the guy in the knackers doesn't he?

Souness goes steaming in with a knee high challenge - its 'lucky' the guy took it in the high thigh/bollocks as it could easily have broken a leg. Souness feigns his own injury afterwards, I guess at least Keane was unrepentant and quite happy to take the red.

Oduwa saved from the hammer throwers today. Failed a late fitness test. Slightly off subject, Dominic Ball was outstanding today.

Was in London at my folks so decided to tune in to the Rangers game to catch some live oduwa. After 10 mins I was getting annoyed because he hadn't once received the ball. He wasn't really demanding the ball either which seemed out of character. It was another few minutes until I realised that the skinny young black guy in midfield was actually zelalem not oduwa at all.
And I felt a bit racialist.

Me whenever there is an update on this thread. Excited to see if Oduwa has done some outrageous skill, then suddenly realizing that there is equal probability that he might have suffered some nasty injury due to a horrendous tackle.
