I, stupidly, have a date at 4. What's the best way to either let her down, or transition the coffee to the pub instead?

Tell her you want to watch the match, if she says fuck off, then you can chuck her with no recriminations...If she says OK then she's a keeper...but not as good as Friedel though...
We can play Raitei's date in the Europa, Friedel in the league.

Bale at LB:

Our starting team vs QPR: Friedel, Walker, Gallas (C), Vertonghen, Bale, Sandro, Dembele, Sigurdsson, Dempsey, Lennon & Defoe

I like it, imagine it will be

.........................Friedel

Walker........Gallas..........Vertonghen......Bale

..................Sandro.........Dembele

.......Lennon........Sigurdsson.......Dempsey

.............................Defoe

Dempsey operated well for Fulham from the left, supporting the strikers from that space - it will also keep Bale operating as a proper wide man - no drifting all over.

At home its an attacking set up. Obviously enforced, but positive none the less

Looks very very strong... should have enough about us that Bale doesn't get caught out and can still bomb forward with plenty of space in front of him

Isn't it more of a 4-3-3 with Gylfi in the middle of Dembele and Sandro but just a little forward

edit: also, does anyone know who Bale will be playing against?

Naughts got injured against Lazio and was seen on crutches and protective boot, Ade was injured last week and obviously not healthy again. Bale can play LB and he'll be harder to stop from deep, he's a train not a sports car. Sandro to possibly slot in as a central CB with JV and Gallas fanning out to make it a backline of three in attack with Kyle and Bale being faaaar up the pitch.

yeah, suits avb's system and qpr's team is Cesar, Hill, Park, Wright-Phillips, Granero, Onouha, Nelsen, Bosingwa, Hoilett, Zamora, Faurlin

you can work that out
