We have a thread dedicated to the uber cunt that is merson.
so i thought for the 3rd (the Shemp) chuckle brother was needed.
He does a weekly prediction column on the Beeb when he takes on some no mark celebrity guest.

He really hates football. Can you remember his mithering, sneering commentary at the last WC?

I mean yeah you can get Leicester and Chelsea wrong but considering the spread of our finishing position in league has been basically 4th or 5th for a while how on earth does that cunt have us so low

Hey, it drives traffic for them.

Remember when two of our forum members decided to compete on their projections? 90% of their tables were the exact same or showed teams separated by a single place. That doesn't get people to talk.

Make crazy tables predicting Liverpool won't lose a game all season and forums go mad and their traffic spikes. Advertisers are happy and the execs pay themselves a fat bonus.

You can't advertise on the BBC VS. This is simple idiocy. Since they moved to Salford we have had to put up with a once great institution, behaving like soccer AM. It's a real shame.
 
His commentary always sounds like someone has just made him drink a pint of an Everton fans warm piss

Typical football TV ' expert' like the cretins on sky who can not or even try to hide their bias and like lots of them has tried management and was totally shit at it. Yet still pontificates and acts like the authority on all things football.

I don't even listen to them, if I am not at the game and watching spurs on TV I mute it at half time.

Slightly off topic but didn't sky have an option once to switch commentary off? That would be brilliant, just watch the game and hear the crowd
