Whilst this season represents a prize to make the tournament far more appealing (at least in the early stages) than previously, it is a tournament that still requires managing properly.

AVB would have lasted longer, I'm sure, had he off used fewer first team players in the final couple of EL group matches (as well as utilising Adebayor earlier), and that is going to be MP's tough task. He will want to win the tournament, which might represent a more plausible route to CL football but I wouldn't want us jeopardising our league form in and around a period of time where injuries become more prevalent (winter)...in order to achieve an already secured top of the group position.

Can't get the time off work mate. All the parents have nicked the slots as it's six weeks holiday. I messaged you a photo of the dates all blacked out on my work system. I'm not that gutted as it's a bit early in the season and it'll be cheaper later on in the groups. Not only that but barely anyone is going!
Keep an eye out. Limassol youth are after you :adeohshit: I heard from their top boy poppodopoulous.

Need my plane-drinking partner!

Might as well get this in.

In the scenario where we finish top three and Woolwich finish fifth, and we reach the final, do we throw the game to stop Woolwich qualifying?
And does it even work like that with the qualifying spaces?

Celtic, Guingamp and Lokeren would be an absolute dream draw

(Although would quite like to see Celtic draw Legia Warsaw after they fucked them over)

100% mate. Need limited travel and a group which we can rely upon Veljkovic, Kane, Et al to get us through!
Plus the Celtic ties will be great.

Is this usually televised in the UK?
And I've just read that the list won't be up until 60 minutes after the draw. Is there a way of telling which dates we will be away? An automatic way of deciding first home match etc?

Really want to get the best flights/hotel deals I can.

:harrylol:

No - There are now a maximum of 5 teams that can qualify, but only if the EL winners finish outside of the top 4. If the EL winners finish in the top 4, only 4 will qualify. It was brought in to stop what happened to us from happening again. The only way the 4th placed team can miss out now is if both the EL and CL winners finish outside of the top 4. Of course that will never happen, but if it did... you can guess who'd miss out. :walker-scream:
