I'd guess there are hundreds, maybe thousands, from grass roots level right to the top leagues in world football.You've gotta love that kind of progression. Shows that the people around him are conscious of his talents and have the awareness to move him around to best foster them.
Although it does make me wonder how many potentially amazing footballers get ruined by mismanagement.
For every Eric Dier, there's going to be very many who had the ability but were never schooled properly at the right time. or by the right person.
It's all a bit "sliding doors".
But Eric is something very special. And it's great to say he's a Spurs player.
