That was Toby mate. But Dier did send Son through with a similar great lofted pass to the W Ham one at one point.

His passing is actually very good, and he looks really assured on the ball in recent games as well. Doesn't panic when he receives it in unfavourable positions and uses his massive body to shield the ball well. Really showing many aspects to his game now, not just the excellent defensive contributions that we all associate with him.
That's why Dier has been such a revelation. There are good defensive midfielders out there who could have come in and done the same defensive job as Dier, I have no doubt.
It's what he contributes which is underrated by others but is so crucial to the team. His quick incisive passing forward. He always looks to pass forward, quick to the attackers and bypassing atleast two or three opposition players. He does it nearly perfectly every game.
