I certainly agree with you that we shouldn't get relegated to win the FA Cup (getting relegated is such a fucking ridiculous premise, I don't know why anyone raised it). But how would winning a cup stagnate us? It is completely counterintuitive. Winning breeds winning.
But more importantly, why compete if not to win?
