I don't see why not.

The games are rarely ever played midweek and it takes place of a Premier League gameweek so it's not like the players would be tired in the same way a League Cup or Europa League fixture would do to them.

Watching all the lower teams playing today, it does come down to luck and who you play. We can beat anyone on our day, I really believe that. A few home draws sorted. I believe Im right, when we won it in 81 and 82 we only ever got home draws? I can remember Thats when you know your names on it.

I so agree. I don't go with this shit that it is no longer a big trophy, because it is one of the biggest watched games world wide and commonly known as the biggest domestic cup on the entire planet. It may not command the same financial benefits as the CL or prem, but for me football is about glory and not a figure on a spreadsheet. I already can't stand Poch, so please don't give me yet another reason to stick pins in a doll.
