Good point about FFP, Flav . The point about the plan is to take into account turnover--so the profit that Real Madrid makes off, say, their island resort in the UAE, would let them pay more in wages/transfers.

The short version is: FFP will not make transfers/wages smaller or "more normal" or "level the playing field". It will just lead top clubs to find more ways to bring in revenue.
