I think, after careful consideration, Les should definitely be used as a defensive left-back.
He would certainly be a huge improvement both defensively and offensively on Danny Rose.
Could next year be our "Noah's ark" moment? We've all heard (or not) how nonexistent the atmosphere at White Hart Lane has become, and you could probably see that lining up with us not matching increasingly higher expectations. If we get Chicharito we'll be getting a moderately decent player (albeit out of form) that could make a minor impact on the squad. He absolutely will draw a VERY large contingent of Mexican's into watching Spurs and his marketability will be huge. Whereas it's not necessarily a move that will net us more wins, it will garner more fans and more revenue in the long run. With the future of the club in mind, and not just a season or two, do you find moves like this to be favorable?
