There's more value in loaning out the fringe players and trying to get mileage out of them as opposed to terminating Dier's contract.

Regardless of that we knew Dier was sticking around at the start of the Summer anyway, moving him out doesn't move the needle for us plus we don't even know if Dier would be happy to take that deal, by all accounts it seems like he's happy to sit on his contract until next Summer.
Well he's just going to rot for a year then.

Tanganga and Ndombele could fill the other two loan spots I guess

Well it seems we are stuck with Dier for his final year then because as I said noone seems to want to buy him. Unless we are willing to accept a small fee, like 1-3 mill just to get him out of the door. That might alert a few more interested buyers
Tanganga is club trained so doesn't take up one of the 7 loan spots. u21s and club trained are exempt from the limit of 7 loans

All our unwanted players seem to be heading for loans with no compulsory purchase t the end. Players we want in are all purchases now. This affects our budget surely.
Max 7 players on loan.
Rodon, Devine, Spence and Parrott all already out on loan. Max of 3 spaces left.
Ideally they should be reserved for players we want back with some experience now.

What Are You Waiting For Time GIF by A1 eSports

Why are we poising???

Thought Brighton would need top quality midfielders after losing Mcallister and Caicaido

They signed some unproven player from Lille, who'll probably end up being World class.

What's interesting is though is over the past few years they've had Bissouma or Mwepu or Caicedo, athletic players who were also gifted on the ball, monster engines.

They've lost that now. Bit flimsy in there with the likes of Gilmour. Don't think it'll be hard for teams to dominate them if they can keep resolute defensively.
