Three at the back suits him. He'd be murdered in a back four. But he's comfortably better than anyone we have not named Romero, improves our squad and wouldn't be expensive if we can get out main targets.

Sure, he'd want new defenders, but Levy would want VaLuE selling and ReSaLe PoTeNtIaL for the new ones.
 
I sometimes forget Dier isnt even from the academy. Thats the first reason that comes in my head as to why he's been here so long.

Its all on Conte. The complete mess we look like starting any game. The complete void of preparation, tactics and organization throughout the team. Players constantly getting in each other’s way and not knowing where they should be on the pitch. His contract shouldn't be renewed based off the fact he keeps picking Emerson Royal over Spence and Doherty.

Conte has given us our best start to a league season and somehow got this shitshow back into the CL last season.

I haven't been a fan of the football being played either but I also understand why we are playing the way we are and I also understand that our supporters are impatient fucking babies that can't seem to understand changing manager yet again is only going to set us back even further.
