Of course everyone is always going to focus on the individual at the helm of the group, but I'm a little more concerned about the focus of LAMF. Films, video, and live entertainment? Not a single sports franchise under their umbrella as far as I can tell.

At least when the scousers were taken over by other American owners they were bought up by the Fenway Sports Group, which at least managed two other major sports franchises, a number of smaller minor league teams, and sporting venues. This group has none of that.

Interesting. No idea what they're like but its 100% time for a change and sometimes you just have to roll the dice. Otherwise i really dont see much changing in terms of the team/success.
For those of us who are generally ambivalent to Mr. Levy, we warn about ‘getting what you wish for’ in terms of a future owner.
I can’t see a SPAC run by a Soros with hundreds / thousands of investment subscribers acting as a Daddy Warbucks.

Regarding morals of potential owners..

You have to ask yourself what you want from the team you support?
Without money we won't ever compete
To get the money we need to compete, we'll have to sell our souls to someone with questionable morals.

A group buying at 3B has a different bar for success than one sitting on a ~2.5B profit from their initial investment.

Doesn’t mean they might not run the club badly, but they’ll lose their shirt if they do.

Who knows? The one thing that is pretty likely is if we carry on as we are in will be 5th to 8th place finishes for quite a while. Then you have a cash rich Newcastle, an ambitious Villa, West Ham with a new billionaire board member. Even with Conte (i suspect for no more than another 15 months tops) i just cant see how we improve dramatically under ENIC. We know what they are now so i'd rather take my chances. Some fans used to say better the devil you know under Sugar.

I don't think Levy has any intentions to let them own it Minority investment to make us uber competitive with him and Lewis majority. It kind of fits with not wanting stock market listing. Where every share or rights issue triggers rules about informing the market ect.
