I really don't care about this ECL cup. Let the young ones play and get some experience. Having a cup like this in our trophy cabinet is embarrassing.

Focus on the league (Top4) and the cup. That is what really matters.
Yeah. Because for Spurs European trophy is embarrassing. We want Champions League in 2 years or Conte out! Fuck off..

Will games get called off?

While a precedent has been set for Premier League matches being postponed due to one club having a Covid outbreak within its camp, it is a slightly different case in the Europa Conference League.

The UEFA rules for the competition suggest that a match would only be in jeopardy if "less than 13 players registered on the A list or no registered goalkeeper are available".

This happened (don't know the extent of it) before where we returned x2(??) false positives, so there will be another test done.

From what's been reported so far that it appears more people return a negative test than previously, includes staff + players.

The bottom line will be how many there are and if Spurs can field a team. There will not be any further details until the 2nd tests I guess. Then we'll know what we are dealing with and whether a team can be fielded.

If Brighton gets postponed it's not the end of the world.....

Means we can go as strong as possible on Thursday and then regroup for Leicester.

I think it seems likely that Gil and Emerson were 2 of those players.

Rumoured to be 4 other players. Perhaps players who would come into close contact with them hence names being rumoured like Romero , Lucas .

I'd personally play a weak team v Rennes away. I don't care about that game. The Conference league just hampers us and we don't need it. However, v Brighton it'd be a big blow if a lot of players were missing whether it effect our starting XI or quality of bench.

Fingers crossed there were some 'false positives' and also fingers crossed everyone is ok and not too badly ill.

Go as strong on Thursday so we stay in that awful competition? No thanks.

Throw the game and then continue to complain about no trophies and "losing mentalities"?

NO THANKS.

(The potential is there for Brighton to be postponed; but you chose to ignore that fact.)

Seriously. If we want to progress as a club forget about that tinpot competition. Conte needs time on the training ground not taking 1000 mile trips to Europe.

Tottenham Hotspur have been struck by a Covid outbreak in their camp, football.london understands.

However, Tottenham boss Antonio Conte's plans have been thrown into disarray by a number of players and coaching staff testing positive for Covid.

Before any decision can be made over what happens next for the fixtures this week, football.london understands that those who tested positive using a lateral flow test will undergo a further PCR test on Tuesday.

The club did have two players earlier in the season recording false positive tests and then negatives on two follow-up tests.

Should this outbreak prove to be confirmed then it could affect the games ahead depending on the numbers involved and also whether any further cases emerge.

As things stand, football.london understands that Tottenham would be able to fulfil that fixture on Thursday night.

Winners want to win everything; they don't discriminate.

The fanbase was in meltdown any time we lost in this comp..... Players mentalities got shat upon by the majority over and over.....

You want to throw a game, but can't comprehend the correlation?

With that mentality, you're going nowhere. Audi Cup was rubbish and it was a joke, but Conference League is a real competition. Roma competes in it, a very good Rennes team, in play-offs teams like Marseille, PSV and Leicester could enter. It's similar to Europa League. This league has a good marketing, good structure and the final in Tirana would be nice to experience and watch.

It's a good competition and we will need to beat some good teams if we want to win it. We can't just throw it away.
