Our CL group allows Pochettino to give opportunities to other players like Son (do NOT sell). Rotating the full backs is a must again. We must not flog Kane ….and we really don’t need to.
Yet again against Liverpool we lacked width …their full backs were more ambitious and pushed ours back. We were lacking in that department too against a toothless Palace.

So it begs the question: Has Pochettino changed his tactics with regards width ….?

(IMO I bloody hope not ….I suspect he isn’t confident they are in the physical condition to go up and down the line all game so has told them to be cautious). I want to know what you guys think because I feel that we are not attacking particularly well this season and have got away with it a little.

2nd question: Eriksen has been very poor so far…. and these protracted contract negotiations aren’t helping Spurs so I think he needs to be dropped. What do you think?

3rd question: Last time we qualified for Champions League most fans felt Levy didn’t invest in squad. Our Net spend so far is less than £20 million. With a few days to go all our rivals have massively higher NET spends …..So is Levy letting Pochettino down by not backing him a bit more in this window?

Ps it was Real sociedad that waived the Basque rule, initially they only had basque players then to remain ‘competitive’ they allowed foreigners to play with them and then they relaxed it even further to allow non-basque players to play for them. Atheltic Bilbao still currently only pick Basque players. I used to live in Bilbao which is why I know,…..still listening to the pod hectic btw
